SMS2ICQ and ICQ2SMS service

The SMS2ICQ and ICQ2SMS service allows exchanging short text messages between a mobile phone of a subscriber of the MegaCom network and an ICQ or QIP Internet-messenger user.

This service is available to subscribers of all commercial tariff plans (TP) (individual and corporate ones).

Algorithm of using the service:

1. For subscribers of the MegaCom network.

For sending SMS to ICQ it is necessary to dial an ICQ number of an addressee in a message body and a text after a blank.

Example:

ХХХХХХХХХ Hi!
Where, ХХХХХХХХХ – is an ICQ number

To send SMS to the short number 333 

Note!

1. If a text size exceeds 160 symbols, including an ICQ number, a phone will automatically divide it into several SMS messages and charges are made for an appropriate number of sent messages. An addressee receives SMS messages in transliteration.

2. For ICQ users.

SMS is sent to a subscriber of the MegaCom network from ICQ № 478-261-996, Nickname: MegaComICQ (authorization is not required). It is necessary to dial a number of a subscriber in the format 996555ХХХХХХ or 996550ХХХХХХ. From a new line – a  message text.

For sending SMS to a subscriber of the MegaCom network it is necessary:

1. A subscriber should get authorized under his (her) own ICQ accounting record;
2. To press «Add/find users»;
3. To find on ICQ 478261996, it will be a MegaComICQ user;
4. To add a new contact in a list of contacts;
5. To open a window of MegaComICQ messages;
6. In the field for sending of messages it is necessary to write a subscriber number in the format 996555ХХХХХХ or 996550ХХХХХХ. After a blank – a  message text.

After sending a message the answer of the service: Soobshchenie prinyato k otpravke will appear. 

Example:

Sending: 996555ХХХХХХ
                   Hi!

Reception: (ICQ:ХХХХХХХХХ) Privet! 

Note.

1. The length of a text to be sent should not exceed 160 symbols in Latin including an ICQ number. A subscriber will receive SMS in transliteration.
2. Not more than 10 messages a day can be sent from one ICQ number.
3. The service for a sender from ICQ is free.
