SMS2E-MAIL and E-MAIL2SMS Service

The SMS2E-MAIL and E-MAIL2SMS service enables exchanging short text messages between subscribers of the MegaCom network and e-mail users.

This service is available to subscribers of all commercial tariff plans (TP) (individual and corporate ones).

Algorithm of using the service:

1. For subscribers of the MegaCom network.

For sending SMS to E-MAIL it is necessary to dial an e-mail address in the field for entering a text and type a text after a blank.

To send SMS to the short number 222.

Example:

xxxxxxxx@mail.ru Hi!
Where, xxxxxxxx@mail.ru is an e-mail address 

Note!

If a text size exceeds 160 symbols, including an e-mail address, a phone will automatically divide it into several SMS messages and charges are made for an appropriate number of sent messages. An addressee receives SMS messages in transliteration.

2. For an e-mail user.

Sending SMS to a subscriber of the MegaCom network is provided from an electronic mail box to the address: 996555ХХХХХХ@sms.megacom.kg or 996550ХХХХХХ@sms.megacom.kg. Where ХХХХХХ is a number of a subscriber’s mobile phone.

Example:

Sending: 996555ХХХХХХ@sms.megacom.kg Hi!

Reception: (Е-MAIL: xxxxxxxx@mail.ru) Privet! 

Note.

1. A subscriber of the MegaCom network will receive SMS in transliteration with the maximum length of a text of 160 symbols, including an address of a sender. Messages of more than 160 symbols will be delivered in a shorter form.
2. From one e-mail address it is possible to send not more than 10 messages a day. When sending a message to several subscribers simultaneously (distribution), each message will be considered as delivery to everyone separately.
3. Service for a sender from e-mail is free.

To get the possibility to accept messages through the service E-MAIL2SMS, a subscriber should enter the following command:

*767#1#call – activate the possibility to accept messages from e-mail

To deactivate the possibility to accept messages through the service E-MAIL2SMS a subscriber should enter the following command:

*767#0#call – deactivate the possibility to accept messages from e-mail

*767# – check of the service status.

Note: With any status of the service "E-MAIL2SMS" a subscriber may use the services SMS2E-MAIL (which is available to any subscriber by default).
